On Saturday the 7th of December Klankvorm presents 'Sensing the Void' at UBIK Theater in WORM! 'Sensing the Void' is an artistic research project by Klankvorm, dedicated to investigating the human sensory system and its relationship to contemporary art. This edition centers on the perception of sound in the absence of visual stimuli, pushing the boundaries of how we experience and interpret our surroundings. By eliminating sight, the project intensifies focus on auditory perception, allowing sound itself to become a sculptor of space.

At the heart of the experience is a specially designed multichannel sound system, crafted to deliver immersive, spatial soundscapes. This unique setup invites participating artists to create compositions that emphasize the physical dimensions of sound, manipulating audio and and layered recordings to evoke textures, distances, and depths in the listener’s mind. Set within a fully darkened environment, 'Sensing the Void' encourages the audience to surrender to their auditory senses, exploring a deeper awareness of the unseen.
